Academic Calendar of University Examinations
(Under the university of Dhaka)
At the end of 1st phase First Professional MBBS Examination will be held on the following subjects:
(i) Anatomy of Histology
(ii) Physiology and Biochemistry
At the end of 2nd phase Second Professional MBBS Examination will be held on the following subjects:
(i) Pharmacology (iii) Forensic Medicine
(ii) Community Medicine (iv) Pathology and Microbiology
At the end of 3rd phase Final Professional MBBS Examination will be held on the following subjects:
(i) Medicine and allied subjects
(ii) Surgery and allied subjects and
(iii) Obstetrics and Gynecology
Besides, there shall be periodical examinations and other examinations as per requirement in the curriculum.
Internship
As per rules of Bangladesh Medical and Dental council all students on passing the Final MBBS Examination shall
be required to undergo one year internship in approved hospital as a prerequisite for full registration by the Council.
